Achieving climate action with Circularity: An introduction to XLabs

Transitioning to the Circular Economy is critical for a lower emissions, more valuable and resilient future.

Join us for this session with our partners Auckland Unlimited and the Ministry for the Environment, where you will gain an understanding of how our XLabs program can support your journey to below carbon through circularity.

More details about the XLabs program

XLabs is New Zealand’s Circular Economy Lab designed for businesses looking to make the shift from linear to circular.

XLabs is a proven capability-building program to accelerate the design and validation of circular solutions by a wide range of businesses in the economy.

At XLabs, we use a circular design and innovation framework to help businesses start tackling the 45% of global emissions created from the way our products are made and used.

After bringing together 18 teams and 50 collaborators to deliver 12 circular solutions in 2020,  we’re scaling up our ambition to deliver a nationwide online learning program for businesses looking to LEARN about how they can activate the circular economy to reduce their environmental impacts, unlock new value and reduce their emissions from what they purchase, produce and sell. XLabs LEARN is launching this month.

This online program has been created by us — the founders of Circularity — to share our expertise as practitioners in circular design. The short course draws from our work with innovators, changemakers, governments and industries alike to solve environmental challenges and unlock solutions that are better for the people and the planet faster than ever before.

This is followed by a LIVE circular design sprint for20 businesses to prototype and validate their circular solutions using our circular by design methods alongside a range of expert partners.

To find out more about how XLabs can help you and your organisation to make the shift from our resource-draining 'take, make, waste' linear systems towards the progressive circular economy movement that is more regenerative and sustainable, join us for this XLabs taster session.
